Adrian Jevans

Director

An experianced business developer and consultant.  After qualifying from Writtle College in 1988, Adrian spent 9-years in horticultural management, before he joined ADAS as a business consultant in 1997. During his 8-years there he worked with a range of clients from small producers to multi-national retailers and corporations on a host of management and project issues.

In 2004 he joined Gloucestershire Development Agency to manage the Gloucestershire Food Vision, the UK’s first integrated food policy framework. As Food Policy manager he has developed and delivered projects across health, education, procurement, food safety and production.

Adrian lives in Worcestershire, with his wife and two children.

Rob Rees MBE
Director
 

Rob is one of the UK's leading Chefs and consultants dedicated to creating a better food culture for Britain. He balances social aspects of his work with his private interests of consultant, demonstrator, food columnist, writer and chef.

 

Rob has actively campaigned around issues on education, health, nutrition, food safety and consumer issues for many years.


Amongst Rob's work he is Chair of the School Food Trust, Chair of Lets Get Cooking, Board Member for Visit England and former Trustee for the British Nutrition Foundation and a former Board Member of the Food Standards Agency. In December 2007 he took up an appointment as a Non Executive Director of Gloucestershire’s Primary Care Trust.

Gerry O'Brien

Health Improvement Practitioner (Specialist Food & Health)

 

Gerry joined Gloucestershire Food Vision in June 2008 as a Health Improvement Practitioner. She has a background as a health professional. She worked for two years on the National School Fruit and Vegetable Scheme -part of the 5 A Day programme.

 

Gerry has recently started the 'Train the Trainer' Programme for HENRY (Health Exercise and Nutrition for the Really Young). It is an exciting initiative designed to tackle childhood obesity by training community and health practitioners to work more effectively with parents and young children.

 

Gerry supports any interventions that help to raise awareness of the importance of incorporating healthy eating into our lives and is the county lead for Change4life.
